Overview
NortePay Dashboard is a fictional financial management product designed for freelancers, consultants, and small businesses in Mexico who need a simple way to understand their income, expenses, invoices, clients, and cash flow.
Unlike many dashboard concepts built only as visual exercises, this project was designed around a small but functional financial model. Metrics, invoice states, client data, expenses, and cash flow are connected so the interface behaves like a real product rather than a collection of placeholder screens.
The project explores how financial information can be reduced to a clear set of actionable metrics while keeping the experience approachable for users who do not need — or want — a full accounting platform.

My role was to design and develop NortePay’s dashboard experience, defining its information architecture, financial metrics, interaction patterns, visual system, and frontend implementation.
Built with React, TypeScript, Vite, SCSS, and Recharts, with reusable components, responsive layouts, data-driven views, and a modular frontend architecture.

The visual direction uses a restrained financial UI system built around warm neutral surfaces, deep navy typography, plum accents, semantic status colors, compact data visualization, and generous spacing to make dense financial information feel calm and easy to scan.

Outcome
The final result is a functional frontend product prototype that demonstrates product thinking beyond static UI design. NortePay Dashboard combines financial logic, information hierarchy, data visualization, reusable components, tables, filters, forms, responsive behavior, and accessible interaction patterns in a cohesive SaaS experience.
